Maryam Vasek was born in Tehran, Iran, and immigrated to Las Vegas when she was 6 years old. Maryam attended the College of Southern Nevada High School, where she obtained her high school degree while simultaneously getting college credit. This allowed Maryam to graduate from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with her degree in Criminal Justice at the age of 20.

While living in Iran, Maryam witnessed injustice in many forms, and this inspired her to attend law school. She knew at an early age that she wanted to make a difference and to help those who felt they did not have a voice. With her focus set on law school, Maryam took every step to expedite her education.

Maryam attended an accelerated program at Arizona Summit Law School that allowed her to get her Juris Doctorate in two years. After law school, Maryam worked in many different areas of law including criminal, family, intellectual property, and personal injury. Maryam was also a Law Clerk for the honorable Judge Mathew Harter with the Eighth Judicial District Court for 3 years.

After practicing different types of law, Maryam knew that her heart was in personal injury. Having been injured in several accidents herself, Maryam understands the struggles that clients go through while trying to recover. This is why she works diligently to ease the process and keep her clients well-informed.

In her free time, Maryam enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their adorable Corgi, Chips.
